What are some standard measures of size, plus women's clothing?

I received a commemorative T-shirt that I like to use, but too small. I had inserted Tee add another cut in the side seams to make it my size, but I'm not sure how much ease to allow hip. The 12-inch, I usually give for knits, seems like too much for a "T".

I would go with 6 "on each side. You not to pull the shirt as you take it. You can always consider if you think hanging too wide.
