How do you view this dress with lace sleeves?

I'm a bridesmaid for my aunt's wedding this summer. I DO NOT look good in strapless dresses, I have very large arms and a dress with sleeves, looking much more flattering to me. The sheath dress has a chiffon and lace on it. I bought two yards of cloth lace for sleeves (no cap sleeves – sleeves 3 / 4 arm length). Do you think this would look good? I live in the NYC area – are there any you would recommend tailors to add sleeves? I prefer the second race, as it is for a wedding and the former are more dramatic and more glam, while the second set are more conservative and "pretty." As a tailor, ask co-workers, friends .. etc. Maybe it takes place is making the dresses, like a David's Bridal. Be prepared to pay more, otherwise it could get bigger. Use common sense to not dress ruined in the process:) Good luck!
